Create your first site

Once you have created your account, you’re ready to start. You’ll be presented with a guided journey to create and configure the site to your needs. There is a few steps you’ll be going through.

Name your Build

In this step, you’ll pick your build name. The site that’s created will use this as its subdomain.

Select your version

Select the flavour and version of Magento you’d like to use.

Note

You’ll be required to provide your own keys to validate you have the necessary access to use your chosen flavour and version. Some features like the ability to download your code won’t be available to you until you do.

Choose your Frontend

You can choose to use the default Luma Theme, or to use the Hyvä Theme.

Customise your site

You can choose to customise your theme with colours, your logos and fonts. Build gives you a preview of how your theme will look like after each customisation.

Select your third party solutions

You’ll be presented with a hand picked list of tech partners that provide great functionality for your store. You can choose as many as you’d like and Build will install them for you.

Hosting and Data

You can choose between our Hosting partners where you’d like to deploy your store. In collaboration with Build, all of them will offer you a few days for free and you can later engage with them to promote your store onto your own account.

If you don’t know which you’d like or you have no preference, select the default BlueFinch Demo Hosting instead.

Confirm and deploy

Lastly, you’ll be presented with a summary of all your selections. Once you’re happy, you can Build and Deploy your store. Build will take of the installation process automatically and your store will be available to you within a few minutes.
